Make Trout Unlimited a Part of Your Legacy

During the life of our Chapter, several valued—and much loved—members have gone “around the bend” ahead of us, taking the eternal fishing trip up the river.  While these Rabunites may be out of sight, they are never far from our thoughts:

When a Rabunite passes, often the family will graciously allow donations to be made to the Rabun Chapter in memory of their loved one. Some families have also donated art, fishing and camping equipment, books and other items from the estate of the deceased to be used for fundraising at the Rendezvous. What a great way to celebrate their lives and their support of the Trout Unlimited mission!

To help honor the memory of those Rabunites, the Rabun Chapter has created a special fund for memorial donations. The Rabunite Memorial Fund will be used only for conservation and education projects benefiting the cold water resources of Northeast Georgia.  During the project the Rabunite whose memory is being honored will be recognized.

To make monetary donations in memory of those Rabunites that have gone around the bend ahead of us, send your check to

Rabunite Memorial Fund
PO Box 371
Clayton, GA  30525

Please include the name of the Rabunite you wish to honor with your donation. Also, if you are aware of the passing of a Rabunite who is not listed above, please let us know by contacting the Chapter president.

In addition to memorial donations, Trout Unlimited has a variety of other options of supporting the mission through your estate planning. Gift planning options range from simple will bequests to more complicated trust and annuity arrangements, but they all share the same basic benefit; they enable you to help secure the future for the people and places that matter to you most.

We hope you’ll take a minute to consider how you can make Trout Unlimited a part of your legacy. More information on gift planning can be found at www.tu.org.

Your donation to Trout Unlimited is tax deductible.  The Rabun Chapter of Trout Unlimited is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, and certifies that no tangible goods or services were exchanged in conjunction with the donation.  Our Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN) is # 521766093.
